Well... I must say I've been here on the site only a short time and I love it!
I started riding Trikes as a youngster, then due to parents my Trike went away and it was MX's from then on. So now years later I have the 3 Wheel bug again. A few months ago I scored a YTM200ERN that needed help due to a roll down a hill. It's almost perfect again but after the first test ride I realized I also needed more of a Trail/Track Trike as well and started looking around.
Well tonight I am very happy to say I found and purchased a 1995 Honda 200x. It's in amazing mechanical shape, with a slight bore. Runs like a dream. Breaks, bearings and front shocks are all great but the back shock feels a bit soft. It has aftermarket rear plastics and is missing the front light and bucket, as well as the Tank Scoops. The front Break Res has three layers of tape on it so I am guessing it leaks. Bought it for $800.00 with all receipts from the top end rebuild and bore. He also threw in the front end for a Honda, looks like a 185 or 200 as it has shocks and a drum break but doesn't look heavy enough to be from a Big Red. Also got a Carb rebuild kit for the 200x and the repair book. So all is very well in my world tonight. It's dark and raining here now but I will post pics in the morning, it will be early as I probably wont sleep.
I'm 40 and I feel like a kid again, I love it.
