250es electric start?

I searched and searched and found nothing on this subject... here's the deal:
Brand new battery
Brand new solenoid
Good starter
Good main fuse
I can jump the solenoid and it starts, but will not do anything when I hit the starter button. Would this be a bad/corroded button, or something else? Thanks guys...

sounds like a bad button, or the starter relay ...

It has a new relay... hmm...

Definately sounds like the starter button, or a bad spot in the wire from the button to relay. Test the wire for continuity then look into that starter button. I had to take mine apart and clean it, now it hits every time.

Thanks guys.... I'll clean the button contacts and check connections now!

EDIT: That was it, the contact surfaces were corroded... thanks guys! She starts great!
