WOW what a differnce from the FMF to the esr. Its worth the extra money. Really seemed to rev I went from a stock 142 main and a stock 42 slow to a 155 main and a 48 piolit runs great at 25 deg. Is it normal for a new pipe to discolor a little gold on the first 3-5 inches? It did it with in the first 5 min of riding plug looks good for color

It sounds like you got yourself a chrome plated ESR pipe. If so, then yes the discoloration is normal.

Its a ESR And I got a S/A ESR silencer that he made me 3" longer than stock its still way to loud for Wisconsin trails. I got a DB tester and my 86 with all the stock exhaust was 94-96db @ idle and the ESR is the same but the tone is totaly different and carries further. I got a 3" 12 disk set coming from super trapp and a S/A cap hap I can get off some of the edge. As for the ESR exhaust.... Its hands down awesome, lots of power all over compared to the FMF and PSI pipes I have. Mabey I dont need a 310PV:naughty:

Its a ESR. This is the last pictures of this one together. The restoration is starting and here is a pics of the parts I've got. I have the ESR 310PV cylinder and a polished stainless 400 plus piece bolt set too. Ive got $1500 in the machine, not counting the FMF system I had on it but the way you see it in the pictures here I have $2000 bolt ons and plus $2000-2500 more for the cost of the cylinder, ESR to put in new crank and clutch upgrade and all new bearings, wider axle, stainless braded clutch and throttle cables, powder coat new progressive fork springs. It dont take much to add up to way more than a new quad. LOL! I do have to do somthing with the pipe rubbing on the skid plate. I'll post my progress.11045211045111045011045311045411045511045 6110457110458
