86-87 200x hub ?

i have a 86 200x i am missing 1 hub some how i no the 85 and older hubs dont fit but does any thing eles fit an 86 help me please?

250X, 300ex, 400ex quad hubs are the same. You will loose width with 83-85X hubs or 83-84R hubs.

250x 300ex 400ex hubs WILL not work on the 86-87 200x axle.. i know this first hand as my 86 had 400ex hubs on it when i got it... welded to the axle.. the spines are smaller on the 86 axle. the 400ex hubs wit the 1st gen axle like a glove

So does that mean they won't work.....or someone just welded the hubs on because the axle splines and/or hub splines were junk or worn? I'm pretty sure I have put 400ex hubs on a 86 and 83-85X.

axle splines were good and hub splines were good, i grinded the hubs off the 2nd gen axle and put them on my 1st gen axle, my machine wasnt loved much by the prev owners, 400ex hubs welded on since the splines were differant, swing arm bearings were gone so long the ourrer race was smashed into the swing arm and had to be ground out, carrier bearings were rusted into the carrier, bent axle,

welllll WTF??? why do the 400ex hubs fit my 1st gen axle but not my 2nd gen axle?? they were to loose on the axle and the fit the 1st gen just right??? 350x 250r? axle??

85-86 250r and 350x both use a 25 spline hub.

The 200X uses a 24 spline hub for 83 to 87.

The 83 and 84 250r uses a 24 spline hub also.

I have an 86 250r and a 85 200x. Tried to swap, been down this road.

I'm not sure whats going on with you and 4cfeds axles....but I just double checked my 400ex hubs on my OEM 86 axle and they slide right on nice and snug....they also do the same on a spare 85X axle I have on the shelf....

i have 2 86s and my and they are for sure 86 200x oem axles and it does not fit a 85 hub in witch my brother has. and a 400ex is the same , any body have any 200x hubs for sale?

like i siad the 86 oem axle on my trike the 400ex hubs were welded on, and the fit on my 85 axle perfect,
