I picked up this little gem last month for $900. The owner told me that the starter was out and the radiator leaked. It doesnt have a kick backup so he push started me. It fired up and i instantly killed it because the radiator was bone dry. I gave him his money and was on my way feeling great about the deal. I got it home and diagnosed the starter. It was bad so i ordered another and found a hole in the rad. hose. I replaced that then noticed the engine was filled to the top with oil. Now i am starting to get a bit worried. I installed the new starter and changed the oil. When i fired it up i heard the most awful low end knock. I was disappointed. the owner had filled it full of oil to hide this issue. I started researching online and come to find out these KTM motors are known for the crank nut coming loose. I popped off the clutch cover and sure enough it was on finger tight. I torqued it and added loctite. Problem fixxed! I then took it on its maiden all day run and was extremly impressed. this quad handled all of the rutted trails i ride with ease. the rutts are so deep a straight axle is a huge no-no. My buddies couldnt even believe how well it handled and the power was great. However at the end of the ride my aux cable was pinched between the frame and plastics. when it shorted it burnt up the whole harness. i replaced the harness so that has been fixed.

I cant add pics for some reason at work. If someone could post it for me let me know and i will email it to them.

Wow that sounds cheap! Nice pickup. I haven't ridden an IRS sport quad yet but would like to try it.

They are extremly rare down here for some reason. I see one for sale every few 5-6 months and they are usaully in the 4-5k range. I had hit refresh on CL just in time when it popped up.

good buy. I have ridden the solid axle version and liked it. the power is very smooth and strong.

I was probably the first owner of one in Ks, it was on order for months. I loved the power and handling for my riding style but got sick of taking it to the shop for warranty work. I should have waited and let them work the bugs out fo the first year. I geared mine up and it still had excess power.
