New Trike, No Vin, Help on year?

I just bought this Yamaha off of my uncle for a hundred bucks, it is a tri moto 225, i am pretty sure still did not get into it that much or looking for numbers, but i would imaging the plastics on the gas tank are correct but not a hundred percent, as you can see, the fender says 225DR with reverse, but the trike has no reverse, either the plastics were changed or the drive train was swapped. but for parts reasons or just to know, can someone help me out on Year or any other information on this Trike? The VIN should be stamped on the steering head.

The engine serial number is stamped on the top, right side of the crankcase, behind the cylinder.

yeah, thanks, i looked at the top of the frame, it is there but the end is scratched away, and did not do much besides clean the carb and pull string to get it running before i did anything else, i am pretty sure it is around and 84 to and 86 or something like that

Looks like a 85 from the plastics, if you get the serial number off the engine, post it up.

yeah, when i took off the front headlight it does say it is an 85 thanks
