I just saw this new verizon 4g ad with this kid running out to the road down from the farm. Real quick I saw an old Yellow 2 stroke YZ leaning against the barn. I tried a double take but it was too quick. He comes back to the barn and theres what looks like a 250 or 490 early 80's. What made it so good is that the rear fender was broke off at the seat. Any of you that ride 2 strokes and especially the older members remember. Those 2 strokes would put you on your ass and the rear fender would snap off or break and you would have to saw it off. I can remember 2 fender snap offs and one was on a 490 on the street. I got on that beast and got some wheel spin then it grabbed and all I remember is being on my ass sliding down the street. My friends made fun of me for about a month which is about the time for my skin to grow back.:D

I'd much rather buy rear fenders than titanium valves :D:D:D
I've ridden the new four strokes.. Fast? yes, but they just arent as much fun, maybe when I hit 50 or 60 in the meantime I'll keep on' mixin gas and haulin ass...
Don't have to be old to remember that....Just a Broke teenager  (I'm 21) But me and my buddy's broke the fenders off all our bikes...We started on It425-465's...when we where 14-15 No New stuff for us!! :beer

I had a 84' YZ-125 that was torquey as hell, one of my most fav rides. I've been trying to find a complete running one and is rare to find...beets

i saw that in the commercial too! But to me it looked more like a 75-79 twin shock suzuki with the tank that was on it.... The second dirtbike i ever owned was a 77 rm125 that i got for free and i wish I had never sold it :(

It looks like a 1980 Rm125... but missing the rear fender and had a JT rear sprocket (I had one on my 77 that looked exactly the same) Thanks for the screen shot!
