Aside from hitting the fork boots or oil cooler, without guess work, how can I see if I can get my 250R set up on a 350X similar?

I thought about using a large cardboard template, with a straight line down the middle where the upper frame tube is and a line for the handlebar ends.

There's too much crap in the way to use any of my angle finders.

I know I may gain or lose some radius, different forks/triples,width etc etc.

I just want to locate the new steering stops equal on either side..........

Any thoughts?? I imagine my template would work, I can even drill a hole and put it on the steering stem which are both 350X, just one is adapted to a 250R triple.

I would think if you used a string. You take the string and run it from your stop to the end of each of your axle ends. Theoretically, if the length of the string is the same on both sides, you should have your stops set even. At least that's how I see it in my mind. LOL

I can make it "equal", I just want to be as close to the stock turning angle as possible. I have that oversized IMS tank coming so that may give me the room I need.........
