Damage when wheelying a semi-auto chain drive trike?

Does it do any damage to the front sprocket shaft when you wheelie a semi auto trike? my dad said it wrecks the sprockets because it's too much weight on 1 sprocket, and they're not made for that, someone else told me it strips the front sprocket shaft.
is this true?

Your dad must be smokin some good stuff.... :D The sprocket was made for that kind of stuff. It will do no harm to it.

ok, thanks for clearing that up, because I love wheelying, i only have a 185s but the damn thing wheelies like a charm. i don't do any of that powershifting and popping her up or any of that garbage, I just lean back and give her poo-poo
