Been everywhere in the snow. Even the 4x4 quads have not ventured away from town. We have had a blast, have rode for 11 hours in last 3 days, but a chinook has blown for 3 days. Have to wait for more snow. 1st picture was Fri.. 2nd today, the Tecate is right where the truck was parked. Would much rather have snow than mud. Ya, I know we suck! Lol!

I would say I'm having a blast in the snow but it's been so cold here in eastern montana that it is all powder 8 inches deep and cant seem to get any traction, hopefully the next few days of 33 degree weather will help harden it up for me will add pics to it soon

Good to hear from ya muthey. Yeah, after the drifts melt, then freezes hard with a couple of inches of powder on top it is an absolute blast. WFOT in 5th is a little squirrelly, but makes it exciting doin' 60 m.p.h. across the tundra, lol!

yah I know it gets squirrely and whats worse is I have trail pros on the back hah, kinda weird that I found they have better traction than my buddies rear tires in mud and snow, but he can slide a hell of alot better than me with his

You'll want to re-jet it anyways for winter. It will be way happier in the cold. Otherwise you could damage the engine since the cold will make it run too lean. At least raise the needle up some until you get jets. They are only around $3 each. Made a huge difference for my YT175.

The tires are to worn on my SX. I went for a ride in the fresh (but very slushy) snow. I spent most of time spinning, sliding (those 2 are great) and pushing (not fun) then i slid off the trail and got stuck. Over all it was a great day.

yup i got stuck a bunch of times. i was mainly riding around an packed skidoo trails every now and again i would go off the beaten path and hit a 18 inch plus drift. when the snow settled there was the big red burried up to the fenders. what fun!

Night before last, my 9-year-old asked me if I would pull him around on his sled with my 3-wheeler. I asked my wife to check the temp and she told me it was 4 degrees. I told him it was only 4 out, thinking it would dampen his spirits, but it didn't. "Do you still want to go out if it's that cold?", I asked. "YEAH!", he replied as only a kid can.

Figuring I would teach him a lesson, we went out. I wore my new HJC snow helmet. Naturally the 250SX, which has been giving me cold starting problems, fired right up. So we tied a rope to the sled and I pulled him around the yard for a half hour. I was forced to reluctantly admit that it was fun, and the snow helmet kept my head nice and warm. I guess the lesson was for me!
