I have the stock speakers in my LE, there is like 8 speakers or something, it has factory subs under the seat.

I want smooth bass for sound quality. I do not listen to rap, but rock and hard rock will be loud. I looked at the JL stealthbox that has 1 10" and is made for the truck. It takes one side and leaves room for amps. Very expensive and not sure if it would be worth the 600 for one speaker and box. I tend to lean towards Alpine for the deck, but the subs I am not sure of. Budget is around 1500 for all. I have been waiting to do this for 3 years and I will spend what I need to do it right. Others have recommended Infinity speakers and Rockford subs. Just trying to get input for those that have used this equipment before.

I have an 1) 8" Kicker in the back of my cherokee, putting about 400 watts to it, and it rocks out my jeep like you wouldnt believe... No need to put 2-10's/12's in....

i had a 98 gmc 1500 regular cab.......i ran an alpine head unit, Pheonix gold amp, and a pair of JL-10w's in a standard truck box behind the seat.....sounded very good.....im not a big fan of those plastic box's...they match the interrior nice but are way to expensive for what you get IMO

I run 2 alpine type s shallow 10 under my rear seat inn a 96 c1500 xcab. Sounds great for everything. I have a pioneer p4200 for my deck and alpine type r components on there own amp. Had to step up my alternator and grounds but meh. Alpine makes great subs jl is over priced
