So you have enough skill to swap a track, but you can't figure out how to loosen the track tension? Hmm.....

Loosen the rear axle bolts. These are the bolts that also fasten the rear outside idlers to the skid. When those bolts are loosened, it unclamps the axle in the rear of the rails. Once the axle bolts are loose, you should then be able to back off the track tensioner bolts. These are found on the side of the rails, just ahead of the rear idlers, mounted parrallel to the ground. Once you get the track re-tensioned and aligned, be sure and remember to re-tighten the axle bolts. These are what holds the axle in place once the tension and alignment are set by the tensioner bolts....Capeche???
Fabio: sounds like he managed to somehow remove the skid without loosening the track.....I can only imagine the torrent of profanity that must have been streaming out of his garage that day! LOL! It can be done, not easily mind you. But impossible to reinstall the skid with the track tight...

Then,,,,,to adjust the tracking of your track,,,VERY IMPORTANT!! Safely elevate the track spin it around a few times,,let it COAST to astop,,DO NOT hit the brakes,,check clearance from outside the track into the wheel,,needs to be the same on both sides,,simply push the axle bolt back accordingly to track it from side to side... L O L ,,Ride red!! He musta earned his keep on this one!!
