ok so i just got my shifter rod in the mail today from ebay and ive never done this any tips i know pull the motor but i really dont wanna f up any thing any advise??:(

Which shaft? Is it the shaft that goes through the engine which the foot shifter link connects to? You don't have to pull the engine to replace that one, just remove the right engine cover and cover spacer, both clutches, the cir-clip on the outside of the left case, the shaft then slides out.

yes its that shaft and im gald i don't have to pull the motor! thanks guys ill probally get started on it tommorrow hows that rear suspension kit working out for yoU? that would be awesome!!

I have only ridden the YTM with the suspension kit for about 5 minutes. I ended up having to sell the YTM so I pulled the kit off and sold the trike stock. I still have the kit and have been collecting parts to build another YTM after I finish up the Zinger project.

thats sweet did it ride good for the 5 mintines? i tryed finding one for my self but no luck ANYWHERE.. PM me if u ever wanna sell it! :)

It was neat for the little I did ride it. It will be together again some time, but ever since I got the 350x I have not had as big of a itch to get it going lol
