Santa left this in the backyard for me on Christmas day. It came with a stock 110 motor in it, and also came with a bored and stroked 90 lower end with a 110 cylinder on it and the ct/cl gear conversion also. No carb or intake. Don't know what size it is. Always love a new project for the new year!

Man, that sort of looks like mine. You have to get that tank and those fenders off. More details please. LOL Here is a pic of my frame. That is probably only the third frame I've seen like this and the other frame was back in the late 80s.

Vealmonkey, Yes they are the same frame. Do you know who they were made by? It is in storage right now. Ill try to get by and take a few pic's. Its funny, all I wanted was a campbike for Glamis, like the one I had back in the late 70's/early 80's. After-martet framed, bored and stroked big carbed 90. Look at me now - six atc 90/110 later - it's turned in to an obsession and I'm still looking for more!

The only advertisement I have is from an old hot vw's magazine believe it or not. It was one of the sand issues. They have 2 whole pages of 3 wheeler advertisements. Well, maybe more like dealers showcase/info than advertisements in the classic sense. Pretty cool issue and info really. And doing a mapquest search for the address listed for the maker comes up with an empty lot. I was sort of bummed about that. Would have been cool if the place was still there.

Those are so sweet! I want to see them polished out! Hey Vealmonkey, does it list the price in the advertisement? Had to be pretty spendy back in the day, which of course means super rare today. Nice machines guys!

Nope, no prices and it really wasn't a very big picture either and it was black and white as well. It's the only picture I've ever seen though.

is it a DiCO or did they just sell them??????
Vealmonkey

Dico just sold them. The company that made them was called ASW or AWS, can't remember which right off hand.

That thing is sweet. Looks like a mini racer. Makes my stock 110 look lame

It's funny to see a frame like that with such a stock looking motor in it. The motor on the ground is a good one tho. Must be a stroker with that allen bolt kit and sl conversion. Did that come with it?
czlou
01-02-2011, 10:22 PM
Yes it did. The motor is locked up and didn't come with the intake or carb. to bad. The stock 110 motor in the atc runs fine and does not smoke. That's a plus. czlou

The one on the left is a 1973 Maico 400 with Wheel Smith frame mod's and the one on the right is a 1969 CZ 360 sidepiper. I'm into Vintage dirtbikes also. I have raced with AHRMA, D-37 and now raceing with CALVMX. czlou

i have had this one for about three years now, got it off ebay, its extended 12 inches, shortened rear axle and bored out(hard to pull)bought it from the original owner, he would drag race it, it has a plaque on the side of it tha says"glamis speedway 1983" not the best pick, but still has the nice 80's paint job , said it was in a 3 wheeling mag back in the day, looks the same to me as czlou's and veals.if anyone knows blair in texas, can you direct him to this pic please.

That's very interesting to say the least. It looks like someone extended it themselves.

bought it the way it is, hence the 80's paint job and the velvet seat, i can't remember if the owner said the frame company was in santee or the guy he had extend it, but it appears the same as the other ones pictured, its pretty fast , i bought it because growing up in the eighties in the palm springs area this is some of the wild things i would see, my girl friend laughs at it,calls it my pink atc. has the owners name on the back gary sweeny, he extended it because it would lift the front up with adifferent motor in it.

I know Gary fairly well and can you guess who has the motor that used to lift that front end LOL :Dshens . BTW you got an awesome deal on that when you purchased it .

gary told me that there was another one like this one in the form of a atc70 for his "shorter" friend. so do you know what mag the bike was in, he did not exactly tell me. judging by the location and bikes owned, i thought you might be the one who got the motor, shipping to much or was the bike not your type?i have ridden it , so it is not as perfect as gary kept it.

He's never mentioned anything about the 70 to me but I can imagine it would be a beast LOL . He did tell me your bike was high lighted in a couple mags also but I dont know which ones . I would have loved to have gotten your machiene but shipping was a big factor . I can give gary an email and ask about the mags if you like ?
