2006 king quad 700, looking for the good and bad.

A buddys pickin up a 06 king quad today and I told him I'd check em out a little for him. Any of yous know anything on them or own one? I think 05-07 is the same.

It has a bunch of after market stuff like plow,gun sleeve, hand warmers, more stuff but cant remember.

has around 1500 miles i think he said.

anyways it's 4 grand the guy is asking.

I hear there was somthing with the ECM and the batterys going dead all the time, cost like 400-500 to fix.

anything else ya's know of off hand? or stuff to check out on a rig like that? I'm use to 25 year old machines with 3 wheels not this EFI 4x4 stuff,lol

Decent quads from what i remember...Belive the Ecm was a re-call and should not cost anything. Its a good idea to have a battery tender on the bat for the new EFI quads if you ride in Real cold stuff and it sits out overnight,,,,If its in a heated shop they start nicer. Other than that check all the normal stuff...Axle seals for leaks,torn CV boots..Oil ect.
