Alright guys im in the final stages of a lifan 125cc swap into my atc 70.. Ive got to get a new front sprocket bc the one on the lifan is a 428 and atc rear is a 420. any one know if honda has a stock sprocket with the same shaft size as the lifan... I tried one off my sons Xr100 but the shaft on it is too small for the lifan engine. i did a search and found no links to exactly what sprocket to get.. Does anyone have a suggestion for what size front to run also.. In looking for good top speed.. Please give me a part number and distributor to get it from.. Thanks alot guys... I will post some pics when im finished with it......

Cant you just run a 428 chain ? It should work just fine on a 420 rear sprocket .

most of the chinese motors use sprockets with z50 splines so shouldn't be hard to get one

I run a 428 chain and front sprocket with the rear 420 sprocket. No problems at all.

Im all about using the correct sprocket sizes and chain sizes... but in a pinch that would have worked running a 428 on a 420 rear... im going to check out the z50 sprockets I dont think honda had the big an out put shaft I have the squared lifan engine 54x54 it has a larger output shaft than my sons xr100 ended up ordering one from dratv not happy with the purchase though promised same day shipping before noon central time and didnt ship till the following day
