Anyone use Apple TV to stream Netflix?

I want to stream Netflix from my PC upstairs to the TV downstairs without having to run cables or hook up a gaming system. The Apple TV device seems to be what I need, any advice.

Think of it as an iPod, but for videos you play through your TV. You have to sync it with iTunes for all the videos. For 1080p videos, you figure averaging about 4gb a piece, so that's about 10 HD movies you can put on it. Also, it doesn't seem that there is a way that you can select the content to put on it- it just shoves as much as it can, starting with movies, then tv shows, music, photos, ect. Some have also reported problems with it not finding your wifi network, so you have to manually type in the SSID.

I personally would rather copy my movies to DVD so i can have a hard copy.
