Cr250 stator ?

I'm planning a winter motor build on a 85 R, and I've heard talk about the cr 250 stator and flywheel being a good upgrade. Does anyone have any experience with this and if so is there any benefits of it ?? Also what year cr250 stator/flywheels are compatible with the 85 R motor ?? Thanks in advance.

The Cr250 stators are a good upgrade, the flywheel is very small and the ignition curves are much better. The 01cr250 Stator is the best option, It is digital, and the only one that is, Many of the older ones will work, but the 01 is the best option.

It is not a bolt on and Go, you must buy an adaptor plate through ESR

The upgrade is pricy, but worth it once other mods are done. One downfall, no lighting.
