Quick question: I finally got my plug burning at a nice light brown color but it's only burning brown on one side. The other side of the porcelin is still white as if it's still clean and looks brand new?? Is this normal for one side of the porcelin to be brown and the other side to still be clean?? It's almost like one side of the plug is burning hotter or isn't as exposed to the flame kernel??

i would think its because of the angle of the spark plug in relation to the way the flame front travels down and away from the topdead center. over time i the the plug will develop a nice even color
