View Full Version : an you rebuild yamaha fuel pumps?

Pretty much as stated in title. The fuel pumps on the old Yamahas sometimes fail and i think the one I have is bad. Can they be rebuilt or are these things you just replace?

You used to be able to buy rebuild kits for the pumps! not sure if they are still available anymore..
They use a similar mikuni vacuum pumps on petrol golf buggies.

And sleds, you can get rebuild kits in the aftermarket section of Bikebandit, if yours is like the other Yamahas I have seen its a Mikuni DF44.
