I had an issue with no shifting on my 85 250r, after getting hung up on some trees I could not move my shifter up or down, Finally tore the right side case off and took out the clutch basket, On the shifter shaft there is a spring (return spring) that goes to the shifter shaft (gear shift spindle)and a pin that the return spring goes to as well as going to the shift spindle. Well the pin is broken and it looks like it is pressed or threaded into the case. Nowhere in the service manual or parts diagram is this pin listed. There are pictures of this pin, but no number. Has anyone ever dealt with this pin ?? Is it threaded or pressed in?? It is 8 mm in diameter and about 21mm long.
