Okay WTF damnit. Changed the oil, changed the plug, put in a UNI, changed the diff oil. But STILL for some stupid reason, I can be riding along and hit full throttle, and ONLY when I turn the trike and slide the rear does it die on me, it acts like its dead and the motor is turned off and the bike just goes KAPUT! Still gets spark when I turn the bars, so its not that, still rides fine if I just go 1/2-3/4 throttle... no gas getting clogged... I dont know.

Never has a Honda given me so much grief!!!:mad:

you may have to clean your carb out making sure the jets are not clogged. try that and see. could be not getting enough gas if you hit the throttle...

Carb has been cleaned. Enough gas cause i can do WOT on a straight away and be fine.

sounds like the float level if you throw it side ways at full throttle maybe the gas is sloshing to the side and is not being picked up?

I've had floats hang up with very little side load.
Before I put them back on, I usually blow into the fuel line and turn the carb over a few times to make sure I hear the float valve hiss AND stop dead when it opens and closes.

Does it happen on both left and right turns?

Where the float needle sorta hooks onto the float might be cocking a little, and that tiny spring loaded tip on the needle moves .020" or whatever, and I usually polish the pivot shaft for the float.

I've also seen floats sink a little to one side and hang.

Then again, if it's a 5 second sharp turn, you'd think there'd been enuf fuel in there to at least sputter, right?

i was thinking that maybe the float level was low to begin with but enough to run ok in a straight line?

In my experance and I have seen this a few times its usually electrical related . Pull the tank , light and fenders and look at every wire very good .

Definately sounds electrical to me, with the bars pulling on some connection but the still getting spark thing complicates that theory

So as soon as you turn the bars back to straight it will fire back up?

I agree , Do alittle bit of electrical wire and wire connection tracing and i think you'll find your problem. Tracing wires is always a pain in the butt , goodluck .

The similar 250SX breaks the wires right at the CDI mounted @ the battery box, they pivot up and down with the suspension......

Happened to 2 of them on me.

Cattledog had the right reason, was the damn float! I kinda threw myself under the bus when I rebuilt it... Hahaha.

Thanks all! Great advice like always :)
