I have my 200x for sale in the classifieds, i have something else lined up to buy and need to sell it. Debating on parting it out. NO issues with it and it's really clean. Just wondering if anyone has parted out a 200x and what they ended up getting when it was all said and done? Any problems selling everything?

If its really clean don't part it out - too many people parting out good trikes, they're not making any more of them so sell it to a deserving new owner

It will take a while and it's a pain boxing stuff up and shipping it. Time is money. You could lower the price a bit and sell it complete and be ahead imo. I don't part out trikes anymore unless they are incomplete or beyond repair.

I lowered the price a lot. I think it's at a very reasonable price. It is really clean and everything works, runs great.

:Dyou should advertise it in several different classified listing , creagslist ,ebay? local pickup , and also on this site .you should be able to sell it in reasonable amount of time, but spring is always best ,tax time is good to good luck.:Bounce:Bounce

Yeah, i have it on a few different forums, craigslist and ebay as a classified ad. A few LOW offers. No luck so far.... Pretty disappointed. I would have thought i wouldn't have a problem selling it. I would hate to part it out....

As much as i would like the parts i would hate to see the 200X go. Someone would enjoy it (I know i like mine a lot.

I don't know what part of MI you are in but are economy sucks. You couldn't hardly sell a $100 bill for $20. Everybody's broke. Parts on E-bay are dirt cheap for trikes. Keep it in one piece, someone will buy it. Plus not only does parting it out kill it, but you figure all the time into it vs. just selling it to someone with cash and its not worth it.

And the questions states, "Anyone part of their three wheelers?"
And at times I do feel like part of my three wheeler when I am leaning off the side in a big snowy drift around a corner, so I would never part it out since I am part of it.

Typically you can get more in parts than on a whole for a vehicle. The question is what are you trying to get for it? and whats it's condition.
About parting a bike out - There is investment in time, taking it apart, selling it piece by piece, advertising or finding buyers, shipping, worrying if payments will clear, ect....
and you always end up with extra stuff that don't sell even if you think it should, either it takes up space, you give it away, or it gets tossed.
I've done it in the past, have made some money on it, and still have stuff that's sitting around for over 10 years.
Lately I haven't done much along this line because it seems that it's more of a pain than not. Plus the auction sight fee's are crazy, not to mention payment sight fee's.
In my opinion:
If the bike is in halfway good shape try to sell it whole, it will save you a lot of headachs. If it doesn't sell right away try to find another way to get the other thing and put the 200x aside. someone will eventually go for it.
Or is there a possibility for a trade for what you want?
If the bike needs major work, or is junk, part her out. I would rather see a doner bike than scrap metal
May I ask what you are looking to get? Without seeing the bike it's hard to say what's best to do - if it's a few hundred you are looking for parting it out may do the trick but will take time.
If worth more than a few hundred to you, selling it whole will get you your money with one sale.

It looks real nice. Don't part that one out. Looks real nice. Everyone's getting taxes back soon. Wait till then it will sell. Can't expect anything to sell that quick, part it out and it would take longer to sell everything.
