super rare kx80 atv conversion 80's racer nacs radical racing need help on running

i picked up this rare 80's racer wicked sick runs and fires rite up revs smothly and fast in neatral as soon as u put it in gear to get on it it boggs and makes no power,the carbs clean has fresh gas and plug ,has good compression what else could it be , it has a airbox but no filter will that make a differance??//

Clutch may be out of adj,or just bad, maybe sticking was it sitting long? I have seen clutch plates sick together after along time sitting.

Dang.. I was talking to him about that after seeing it on Craigslist. He told me I was next in line if it didn't sell to you. I was all over this little gem. Congrats and yes get some pics up stat. :-)

i would contact them if i cared but i bought it to drunk drive on the ice and beat on. im going to pull clutch apart tommorow and go from there hopefully i can get it all straitened out

From what is described I dont think your problem has anything to do with the clutch.. what i see wrong is a 80cc bike in cold weather with no airfilter and its in a quad frame with an adult sitting on top... If you dont have an airfilter or bigger jets to correct the lean condition then try choking off the airbox inlet with duct tape.

As far as I'm concerned you should have let someone that wanted it buy it, and you could have bought something else to beat up. Based on numbers of what you have that would be like buying a Tiger or Cagiva to "drive drunk" and "beat up". Put it on Ebay so someone can keep it around. I'd love to have it for my kids when they get older.

The airbox is stock 85 KX80, buy an air filter for it, moron

Well I've seen two just in my lil town and several others online. Anyone with an astro kit and some tecate parts could build one. It's nothing like a tiger or cagiva.
