Long story short: Fella at gas station had a running 200s motor for my daughters 200x (current one in x is seized), free. I wanted to put one in while the other was getting a 200x top end put on. Ended up with two running motors and extra stuff for $50. Tasha will be pretty happy (if the f#!%!!! weather clears up) to have her x back. But Good-Gramma, it's cold to be out there grunting this stuff together (love those kids to much though).

Great score. -20 is really cold though.. We are about to get 15" of snow, 40 mph winds, and -10 to -20 with the wind chill. Not looking forward to it.

You ain't-a-kiddin' Doug. I lived in Kansas, it gets very cold. But no wind here today. And it was -22, so it warmed up. Poor p.u. just hates me, lol. Last night however it was -20 with the wind gusting, I don't even want to know how cold it actually was, lol, and only 3-4". But I didn't want to wait untill Wed. or Thurs., to impatient, so I drove about 50 mi. this morning to get em'.

-20 F? that is way colder than I'm sure I've ever been. it gets to the twentys and occasionally teens here once or twice a winter. I would be playing WoW more if it got that cold rather than working on bikes to have them ready for the next non-raining day.

^Ya, you guys got it pretty good there in OR. I've been actually looking for an opportunity to move as my Mom & Brother are there. Just would be so much easier on the kids than the battle to live here, IDK.

Ya I got er' welded, and at a small shop here in a town of 200 people, lol. I noticed it before, but dismissed it (stupid me). He's an x-Honda certified mechanic who got caught up in the Honda corporate world and retired to this small town. And he also does the cylinder boring and machine work for all the shops in the area, man, I feel dumb, he's only a few hundred yards away all this time. I'm really kicking myself for overhearing someone say he dosen't work on all stuff. He likes the 20+ year old stuff, but I can be a dumb-@$$ on ocasion, lol.

hey hang if you are parting out the 200 s let me know if you are willing to get rid of the front end I'm ready to put a honda front end back on my wife's 81 200, also thinking I might be able to mod some maier 250 sx rear plastics to work for the 200, as they are split like mine. we are currently at -25 f. -45 f. if you count the windchil. don't know if I'm going to do much riding this year as on my birthday a guy hit my truck and gave me severe whiplash I now get to go to physical therapy to help get my neck muscles from spasming.

make sure you paint up those welds and braces on that would hate to see them rust up anc become a weak spot all over again

Is it me or does every 200 engine leak oil around the head gasket? Nice score on the trikes h&r. Love the rear tires! Yeah nice weather eh? a lovely -35C this morning. Thought the school busses wouldn't go but they did. Kids were bummed out. Good thing the wind was down.

I think you're right cool, almost all do. Ya, -32f because the wind was blowin' today. Same deal with my babies. Just want it to warm to a balmy 30 degrees or so to put the motor in Tasha's x to test it, lol.

Talking cold weather, we had a freezing weather last week. Went down to -40celcius (-40f) and -51celcius (-58f) with the wind. It was the coldest temperature we had since 1862 they said on the news.
It was a night of course...
