Did you make sure the spring assembly went back into the right place when you put the cover back on? I usually stick my left hand back in there and try to guide it in while I'm putting the cover back in place. I think you are going to have to pull the right cover off again and have a look. Unless your clutch is totally out of adjustment but they are pretty basic to adjust.

ya sure it is going on rt adjust the clutch how it says in the manual turning the adjuster counterclockwise tell feeling tension and 1/4 turn clock wise after that and then retighten lock nut and when i put it in gear it wants to take off
did i put one of the washer like peice on the wrong way on the filter rotor took for ride and it has no go in higher gears tell u shift back down like the clutch is draging or still in gage but when u put into first it wants to go like there is not enough clutch tension what else to look at like i said this thing ran and shifted fine tell i clean this oil filter rotor i am starting to think it was a bad idea i am so pissed! help me out guys new to working on these wheelers thanks much
