I crashed my 85 225dx and bent the forks and trashed the front tire. I found another 225dx roller minus the back wheels but the guy didn't know what year it was. It's not an 85 and I know other year forks are different. My 85 is 1" diameter and the ones on this frame are larger, like 1.25" diameter. Will the whole front end fit on the headpipe (neck of the frame)?

I'm pretty sure they will best thing to do is measure the neck tubes, and if they are the same the rest is inter changeable like bearing races and what not I put a Honda stem on a set of ytm 200 forks for my wife's 81 200 and did a lil machining and made it all work so worth a shot if you're trying to save a lil bit of money

Thanks. I figured out the roller frame I have is an 86. I also roughly measured the neck tubes and they look to be the same size. I'm going to give it a shot.

Dirtcrasher on here can straighten fork tubes and all kinds of other work. He's got a great reputation. So the other forks could still be saved. Just don't junk them, could come in handy later.

Good advice. I think only one of them are bent, but I'll keep them both.

It still had the sticker on the frame. It's in really good shape.
