Getting ready to do a frame swap on an 85 350x. Please offer any advice or tips. Anything I should have a heads up on. Someone suggested a gusset kit which I think I'll do.

Rear swingarm bearings as well. Try and have all the necessary big parts on hand before you start your build. It will go faster and be less frustrating in the long run. Are you painting or powdercoating your frame. If painting, you want to make sure you have no brake fluid leakage whatsoever or it will mess up your new paint. What you can do really depends on your budget and how crazy you want to get. But try and do it as well as you can afford to the first time. Also plan on having to fix any past owners poor fixes or deal with a swingarm bolt that hasn't been removed from your trike since it was new. LOL

if your old frame isnt to bad, and you might want to get rid of it/sell it let me know, good luck on the build!
