Just as the title says. Its an 86 200x but im not sure what the rear plastics are off from or if they are maier? Considering picking this maching up for around $800 and selling my 84 200x to offset the cost. The guy says it runs perfect with no problems but i havent seen it in person yet. What do you guys think.

Hard to tell by the pic. I kind of like the look from what I can see. In person could be a different story.

Whatever they are off of it's designed to keep the rear down at high speeds.

They sent me that same photo when I e-mailed about it. It looks well used, make sure it is an 86 motor for that money. I passed on it, his description didn't fit the photo at all, "needs to be sold today looks awesome...nicest 1 youll find around here"! I suggest looking at the motor code because it has had some changes based on the picture. Engine number should be TB05E-6300001 and up. Hope this helps!

ugh to be honest...I hope it's a diamond in the rough for your sake bigred but from that pic I'm not too impressed. Look up by the tank where the plastics come up...doesn't look like the yamahoppy fenders fit too well. Seat is ripped in the back. At least it has the chain guard :)

But if you can get it for a good price and sell your 84 for close to the same thing I would say you are doing alright if the motor is good and an actual 86 motor.

Let us know how it turns out!
