Just joined. Great website. I have a 1982 185s that I have had since new. It is all original except for the gas tank. Needs a little work. Have a hole in my muffler at the front. The hole is the size of a 50 cent piece. The problem I am having is that it starts and runs fine, but seems to bog down when you give the gas. Thinking the muffler issue might be a contributor. Am also gonna be draining gas and possibly rebuilding carb. This bike has never had any work done to it other than oil change and spark plug.
2nd bike, is a 1985 200 ES big red. Just bought it and will pick it up later this week. Prolly paid too much for it, but it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Everything on it is original and without a scratch except the rear tires. Can't wait to ride it. It is shaft driven so I am thinking I will need to change rear gear lube. Any advice would be helpful.
