Need help

I have a 1985 Honda Big Red 250ES that needs a carb. Is there any replacment that can be used other than the original. Also does anyone know the size of the original carb for this model.

85 350 is a 31 keihin 200x is a 24 keihin.
i think it would be a 28?
maybe you could put a 31 on.
should be able to find one.

i was running a 85 350x carb on my bigred for awhile ,,, same body type. you need to jet for the bigred though.
these other modles will probbly fit also ,,,

I have an extra 350x carb that came off a running bike about a month ago. I have the trottle cable also. pm me if you need it.

HEY BLAZER!!! Am I mistaken or are you getting rid of that 350X you worked so hard on?? I thought I saw a post by you wanting a 250R. Whats up? I'm sure the X is awesome and of course it looks fantastic, but is there something you just weren't happy with?? I'm curious as hell because I wanted an X and ended up with an R.

Nope I love them both, I just have 2 and would'nt mind having a 250r. It would have to be a nice R for a straight across trade. I have about 3500 into that bike. As far as a 350x best all around bike in my opinion. great for woods riding, and fast enough for the dunes.

Hey Blazer, hate to bust in but what do you want for the carb? If he doesnt want it..........peace
