I got a 1976 suzuki rm 125 it's a beast it was in storage for pretty much 20 years this guy had a whole WAREHOUSE full of bikes and memorabilia. The bike was in mint condition but just before the sale they took the mint tank and side plates off before the sale and sold them seperatly. They put a good tank with bad paint on to sell it. Me not knowing what they were worth and being and idiot left and went home should have stuck around and bought them too.

I've got a 78 YZ250 (about 90 - 95% restored) an 83 Husqvarna XC500 (torn down ready to sand blast the frame and start the restoration) and an 86 Husky XC400 awaiting a restoration.
Also have 1971 & 73 Yamaha AT125's in above average rider/survivor condition that will be restored when the Husky's are done. Ill get some pictures around just don't have any uploaded at the moment...

Also I literally have a ton of early 80's Husky parts to trade for other Husky, Tecate & ATK stuff I need...

WOW - nice collection dynodave!!

Some of these probably don't classify as "vintage" quite yet, but I'll call them retro ;)

Picked these up for free a couple months ago. The xl80 needs a bore and piston, wiring harness, all the lights and some plastic. I plan on a nice restoration for this gem, gonna be a sweet pit bike. The yammi needs the carb rebuilt, a throttle cable and a good cleaning and some plastic. Gonna try to get it running and looking nice. Might give it to the neighbor kid, he's a great kid and his ol man just doesn't have the money to get him something to ride. He does ride the piss out of my wheelers though. Kinda got him under my wing, maybe try to get him into motocross.

I'm not sure what exactly the yami is, side cover says 100, so I assume a 100cc. Serial number is JYA3ULW09PA045688. Anyone know a site where I can decipher the serial number? Thanks, Matt.

Hi Dave! I just picked up a 1980 XL250s that was a craig's list barn find about an hour and 1/2 southwest of me for $450. I rebuilt the carb and adjusted everything properly, plus had a key made for it and installed a new battery and she runs like a dream. I also buffed the tank and the plastics and de-greased everything. The guy even put an old school Supertrapp slip on on it some years ago. I'm just waiting for my O.E. petcock to arrive and then she's cherry.

P.S. these pics are before cleaning.

Then of course I still have the CT.

P.S. how's Big Red been treating ya?

I'm pretty sure it's exactly like the plastics say it is - a Yamaha RT100. My buddy had one of those when we were kids - 2 stroke but very tame. My other buddies cr80r would whomp the RT100's butt.

Judging by the funky colored plastics, it's from the Vanilla Ice Era ;) ie early to mid 90's!

I did a Google search and found out it's a '93. The funky colors have to go!

Here's a couple of mine, 1st is an '81 XL500S( I can't get the pic to rotate, arrggh) I got for nothing & all it needed was the carb cleaned & a little TLC.
The 2nd is a '74 TC100L Blazer I got for, you guessed it, next to nothing. 8 speed HI/LO transmission & sportin' 9 hp. Got a lotta compliments on this one when it was on the road..............
