Looking to put a new front tire on my SX, I have read about the issues with the front forks rubbing the tire. Do you think a 22-10-8 tire will work on the stock rim since it is not as wide? Also has anyone used the Kenda front max 22-11-8 tire on the front of a 250SX . Any pics of what works. Thanks..

a 22x11x8 cheng shin c827 is your best choice its tall and narrow just like the stock tire and real close in tread pattern, most all other 22x11x8 tires are short and fat and its only like $50 just google cheng shin c827 if you cant find one

I just put a 22x11-8 Kenda Front Max on my 185s. From now on thats the only kind of tire I will run in the front.

My sx has a knobbie up front right now, but ever since i bought these AMS FOX tires for my 70, Ive always thought about putting one up front on the sx when its time.

Go with Kenda front max, it's best tire and awesome looking onto to your 250sx, I have one of those on to mine '86 atc 250sx and love it, the way it handle and turn perfect! must buy that front max tire with 22x11x8 period.

I put the Kenda front max on my 85. I normally run 2-3 psi per tire but I had to put it at 5 psi so it wouldn't rub. It still handles great and I love the tire.
