View Full Version : Are wheel bolt patterns the same for 110's as early 250R's?

I found the carcass of an old (82-ish?) 250R near my house, and noticed the wheels are still good. ONLY the frame, motor, rear end, rear tires, and tripple trees apear to be in tact from what I can see driving down their alley. I was thinking about making an offer on it if the wheels could be swapped onto my '79 110, then I could part out the rest of it. After all, it's just rotting away in this alley as we speak.

As far as I can tell, from whats left of it, it USED to look like this:

I suppose I could drill out a new bolt pattern if needed... just wondered if anyone knew if this would be a plug and chug swap?

Thanks in advance.

if you bought that, and its in as good as shape as the one in the pic, why would you part out/sell it? hell that thing will Smoke your 110

Yes, they're the same bolt pattern. And if you get it, you should definitely get it running, whole lotta fun.

I should clarify, I meant it USED to look like that pict. Meaning the frame design and engine color are indicative of an early 250R. All that's there now is the frame, motor, rear end, tires, tripple trees, and some rust. Sorry for the confusion, I will edit the first post to clarify more.
