Well let me start by saying I have a previous post where I bought a 94 cr80 motor cycle and planed on converting it to a 3 wheeler. after examinig it I decided it was going to be a mother bear to make a swing arm work, So I went to plan B. I had a spare 250r frame siting around so decided to use it with an original 250r swing arm. I cut the steering stem off the cr80 and welded it on the 250r frame (after I cut the steering stem off the 250r). The reason I did this was the cr80 steering stem will acept a 200x triple tree and forks. I had allready bought a triple tree and new forks before I decided to use the 250r frame so I decided to use what I had. In one of the pictures you will see the front brake caliper braket and spacer I made so I could use a banshee front hub and caliper. This also allows me to use a 10 inch rim up front. If you look at the frame you can see where I welded in the new motor mounts. In the one picture by the caliper brackets you can see the front motor mounts I also fabricated. I also had to modify the radiator mount for the single radiator and the other radiator mount has a tab welded on it for the exhaust pipe. I also rebuilt the motor. It has a new wiseco crank and rod kit in it along with new barret clutch kit, billet clutch basket, new prox piston, Vforce reeds, The cylinder was sent ot mad man racing where the cylinder was re niskel plated and ported, and last but not least a new flatside carb. The pipe is a stock cr80 pipe that I modified to fit then sent off to get jet coated. I now get to put it all back together since the frame returned from the poweder coaters. I hope you guys dont bang to hard on my work this is the first time I have ever done a project like this and I had no examples to go by. I attempted to message the guy that made the cr80/250r for his boy but he would never return my messages so I did It all on my own. I must say it dosent look like alot of work but it has taken alot of time and money. It would not be a project for the faint at heart. I welcome all comments and will post more pictures as I get the trike together. Glenn O
