anybody try one of these? i've got an '85 250sx with timing chain rattle and was thinking about trying this part. i had the same issue on a trx300fw years ago and it seemed like the hydraulic tensioners just didn't last. any feedback would be great. thanks!

I don't like them because you may over tighten them and cause premature head/cam journal wear.

It may be a bandaid for a loose chain and worn guides..............

was thinking the same thing. figured i could set it up loose and tighten it while it's running until it quiets up......

VERY interesting writeup description.

Almost has me convinced there is no way that I ever was
able to live without one.
