If your bike is an 84 it has the 4/4 or 4/101mm pattern. If you want or need 4/156 you need 85 Tecate hubs which will work on your axle and are 4/156. Or you can buy 85 KLF185 rear hubs which will fit on your (13 spline) axle and are 4/110 which is a lot easier and cheaper to find wheels for.

Ok, I just went out and measured the lug nut spacing on my hubs on my 84. Wanted to make sure what they were because there is an 8" rim on there now. The distance between the outside holes is 2 7/8" and the distance diagonally hole to hole is 4". Does that mean they are the 4/4? I would like to get some 9" rims and go with a 20x11x9 tire. I guess I have to look for some 1985 KLF185 rear hubs then.

Is it just the 85 KLF or will other year KLF's fit and still use the 4/110?

Yes, just the 85 will work. The 86 and up isn't 13 splined..

85 Tecate rear hubs (4/156 too big for an 8" wheel)

Has anyone tried a Blaster wheel on an 84 Tecate? 100X4 vs 101x4?

thats easily doable.. tecate guys put 156 wheels on 155 hubs all the time with little or no trouble.. i've even seen people carefully slot 4/110 wheels out with a round file to fit 4/115 hubs in a pinch.. i dont like it, but with a shouldered nut you couldnt even tell and it never caused a problem... To use the blaster wheels you'll have to drill out the holes out to fit the larger 1/2" tecate wheel studs.. it will work great, but the wheel can no longer be used on a blaster or tri z..

My old man uses 4x110 hubs on his Tecate, it really makes it a lot easier to find wheels but I have to say seeing that big 4x156 hub looks pretty awesome that's what was on my 85 back when I owned it. heres a pic
