Just wanted to say hello, since i have not yet. I bought my first ATC a couple months ago on Craigslist, only because it was super cheap and I planned on putting it up for sale once it was running. I cleaned the carb and BAM... I was in love again (I throw the "again" in there because, well you know... I love you, Baby. Thank you for my new toy!) She's an '82 Honda 250r and I got her for $125.00.
So,needless to say I'm keeping this one! =D Not knowing much about these bikes, the site and our members have been very helpful so far and as I continue to restore and rebuild (as cash allows.. lol) I'm sure you will continue to be... Thank you!! The attached Photo is the night we brought her home.

You're a lucky girl. I see lot's of goodies on your new toy. Hondaline 300 top end and a sectionl pipe with an aftermarket silencer. Can't be real sure who made the pipe from the one picture. Congrats! and Welcome!!

Thanks for the welcome, Daddio... very much appreciated! What's a Hondaline 300 top end? I figured it was pretty much stock... the guy I got it off of didn't have much info for me and I have no clue what I'm looking at really. =D

A Hondaline 300 topend is an upgrade that Honda offered. :naughty: It is the cylinder, piston and head. They make it 300cc's instead of the 250cc's it was in stock form. :naughty::naughty:
The sectional pipe is the fat front part of the exhaust. It is a performance upgrade also. :D If you were to buy those two upgrades now you would be paying over $500 for them. So you got a pretty good deal.:beer:w00t:

:welcome:
