Been there a couple times. Gets real muddy in the spring. Has a decent hill climb and some other little hills that get pretty steep. The mx track really isnt much to brag about but its okay. Its a cool place for a day trip or maybe an overnight but doesn't take too long to hit all the trails and can get boring after a while. There is a pretty cool bar about a mile away too, Monterey Jacks. Not sure if you can get to it on trikes/quads tho. Rocky Roost is definitely worth checking out tho, not many atv parks around here. When you go let me know and maybe we can meet up and ride.

Saturday still looks good for me. Got plans that night so will only be able to ride until about 5 or so. I think all i'm bringing is the 200x also.

Rocky Roost is a good park for all kinds of trikes. It has some fast sections and hills that would be great for an R or 350 and also some more technical rutted up tight trials good for the Big Red and 200x. If you were to just choose one machine tho, i would say 350x.

I'll give them a call later and make sure that they are open for the season and give them a heads up on some riders coming in for Saturday.

Yeah, he's still in. Not sure if he is bringing the air cooled or the liquid R tho. Either way should be an awesome time.

hey guys,
went out to Rocky Roost yesterday with Bigred44, Over all it was a good time. There is a creek that has to be crossed to get to the trails... and well with all the run off from the mountains around... lets just say we all got soaked and i almost lost my 200x down stream. but once we crossed we had some fun slingin mud(lost of mud). There is some hill climbs and challenging trails... but it will be much better when the trails get groomed. was great to ride though...machine performed well overall and was great to meet bigred44. good guy and great rider.

Thanks for the complements Jason. Had a good time. That creek (/river) crossing was pretty knarly but fun for sure. And the mud....Oh my the mud. lol.

The trails and the track definitely need some work but hey, there arent many places like this to ride around here so i guess i cant complain. We'll have to try it out again once things dry up and its a little warmer.

ok... I'm far far far from actually pulling this off......but i may be buying some land...20-40 acres and if I pull this off......big if... I plan ot open an ATC/ATV park. With trails and track.... and also trails and track for little guy's too. I'm in the process now of going through land options... def. will be in either ontario/williamson/sodus ny. I hope it works, it would be open year round. per trip fee or yearly fee... maybe even hold some ATC events.... let me know thoughts guys... wish list of things other places lack... thanks

From your place is probably about an hour and 45 min. The town is called Monterey NY (and its not a very big town). Its like 10 miles off I-86.

Has the snow left your area yet? I lived in Brockport 1944-1965 until Uncle Sam sent me on a jungle vacation. Riding a Kawa klt250c oldie but goody. Where do you buy parts at cheap prices?

I will definitely be down for going to this place this summer. Sounds cool. I live about 2 hours north of Albany so I am not sure how far away this is. I have a group of friends that would surely go. We should plan something for the nice summer months so the mud is out of there. Anyone have any pics? Or is there a website?

Never mind, I now c the link in the FIRST post. Lol.
