one thing to remember is cr motors kick backwards. atc motors kick forward.

AH crap!! there wouldn't be enough room to kick backward :@
the crank for a cr is smaller, right? the jug should fit i think tho? lol

Remove your rear fenders to kick it?

Yep, I wouldn't let the reverse kick really bother me. I seen fellas tweak the kicker outwards to help clear cut rear fenders on other bikes. I would take it for my 85 project too.

I have an 85 350x with an 84 or 86 (I forget) CR250 engine in it. I got it this way, they hacked the lower fender off with a sawzall it looks like. Starting it is cramped for me even with most of the fender removed but I have big feet. You can see how much of the fender is removed in the pictures here http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?126047-ATC350X-sort-of-ALLOT-OF-PICS-ADDED&highlight= . Allot of it may be me just not used to kicking a stroke anymore. I rode it today and wasn't that bad to start.

'84 CR250 has the integrated atac so you would probably have to use the CR pipe which may need modified to fit .. no headlights.. a hacked fender.. custom engine mounts.. It would be fast, but you'd probably be happier in the end if you just fixed the atc engine. resale value would be much higher as well.

hmm well i thank yas for the input!! as i was looking around the net, noticed the 88 cr250 had a power valve, that would be soooo wicked!!!
But yeah, im leaning toward doin it the right way lol came across a ct310 kit complete with crank, piston, jug and head!! its not free but its where i have wanted this heading!!!! that is skipping alot of messing around!! lol keep the bike a bike and the trike a trike :D i'm not in a jam anymore!!

thanks again for all a your input!!
