Well it finally warmed enough for a long ride today(about 30 miles). We took my BR, a 1980 Skidoo Elan, a 86 Suzuki Quadsport and a 2002 Honda Rancher. The trip took us across Cold Lake, to Marie Lake where my campsite is. The snow had the consistency of granulated sugar which made it tough for the BR with knobby tires. Recent drifting on the lake was challenging. I couldn't believe how much snow there is in the bush. My fire pit and screen are normally close to 2' above ground. Enjoy.

Holy cow, that's still alot of snow to melt. I shouldn't say anything, I may be jumping the gun, we could get another foot by the time it's all said and done, lol.

I still can't believe I used to live, (and thrive) in that climate.
Making snow at ski areas at 20 belowF, granulated sugar, like you got from nature is best.
Frisbee games at anything above zero.
Sure looks like fun.
Nice woodpile, btw
I keep a few old woodstove outside for camping around the place
and cooking and stuff.
Wonder what the indians did in Canada?
Looks like you got a good ride in!!! I hope most of the snow melts this week,,,Ready for DIRT!!,,,Was tainted by the dunes:lol::lol:
