A guy is selling these rims
9x8.5 4/110mm
What range of size tire will it fit?
Would a 20x10x9 fit?

Yes it would. What trike are you putting these on? That makes it a lot easier to find the sizes you need.

It's for a 1985 KXT250

Unless you have a different axle and / or hubs, those rims will not fit the hubs. Stock, the KTX is at 4/156.

Stocks are 22" so anything from 22 to 18 should work out ok, depending on sprockets and ride preference of course.

Unless you have changed the bolt pattern 4/110 wheels won't fit. The stock 85 hub is 4/156. You can also use the 84 Kxt250 hub which is 4/4 or 4/101mm, or you can use the 85 Kawasaki klf185 rear hubs which are 4/110 and 13 splined like the 84 and 85 kxt250

Yes, I have the klf185 rear hubs (forgot to mention that)
So any 18 to 22 on a 9 inch rim will fit?
Thanks for the help guys

Stockers are 22x11x10 on 10x8 4/156 bolt pattern. If you get 9" rims.. I'd say go with a 22x10x9 on a 9x9 4/156 pattern rim for stock ride height. For faster hole shots and slower top end, go with a 18x10x9 or split the difference with a 20x10x9. Look on bikebandit.com or rockymountainatv.com and you will see several brands that will work. Each brand / tire has it's own characteristics, so choose wisely, grasshopper.
