Ok so i got a 200es big red 84 and when i got it from a friend of mine it wasnt working no power to anything, so i changed the wiring harness and i got it to work, but the day after i got it to work the inhibitor relay went out AGAIN, thats the 2nd one ive tryed, so i went to a local shop down here aka grant ( Sigh ) and he told me just to try and bypass the relay, so i found the cables it needs to run and i bypassed it, but now its not getting enough or no spark, i tryed 2 different coils and nothin is there anyone that may have a relay laying around or know how to bypass it another way to get alot more spark on it????

You mean reverse inhibitor relay?

You replaced the entire wire harness?

If so, then you know where all the questionable grounds are.

The reverse relay is only supposed to keep you from flying backwards
at hi rpms.

Think simple.
Unscrew the spark-plug cap and see if you have better spark directly
from the wire to the engine ground.

Sometimes those caps go bad and oddly enough,
sometime clipping the very last little bit off the
plug wire and rescrewing the cap will get you 10x better spark.

We're only talking about trimming a quarter inch at most.

I've had a few 84 mdels and I'd get NO spark with the elec start
but good spark with a kick.

I spent so much time with those wire diagrams I needed glasses afterwards.

well idk if its a reverse relay becuz when i didnt have it bypassed and i would press the button to start it nothin would happen and once i did bypass it the button would make the starter move and stuff but the spark was VERY tiny
