View Full Version : Where can I get some engine work done?...

I need my jug bored out when i do a rebuild. I don't think there are any shops in the province that do that kind of work. Where can I send it so i wont have to pay hundreds in shipping, but is still a reputable shop? Id also like to know where I could send my cylinder head to replace valves, springs, seals, guides if needed, and some mild porting! I want this engine to run more powerful than stock, but not so much that it is unreliable.

Any suggestions? I live in Newfoundland, Canada.

Drive line services in the Goulds. Just on the out skirts of St. John's. They are the masters of small engines in here. They also rebuild shocks. Throw it on the bus and I can pick it up and drop it out there for you. Or if your brave, Constantines in St.John's. I had them ruin my 81r cylinder by over boring it. They found me a replacement tho.

that would be good brockey! would I need to send them a piston too or just tell them what size I want ?

Best to call them and ask them first. They should be able to get what you want. I would personally try drive line services first.

I was talking about drive line brockey :) and how much trouble would it be for you to bring it there?

brockey is correct with driveline i had a cylinder done there to. you can get your piston and rings there to. if you have any trouble i can help you out as well as brockey. goodluck

Its up to you on the shipping. Find out where there drop off locations are. Let me know when you wanna ship it. Pm me for my number, name etc.
