had my trike for a couple of months, just got it where i can ride it reliably recently, and just realized, i should oil the chain(was sitting 8+ years before i got it) used WD-40, wasnt sure what else to use, what do you guys suggest or think is the best for this?

WD-40 is great for Oring chains.

dont wanna seem like an idtiot...but..what is an oring chain? and it was acting weird in 3rd -4th gear, but straightened up for the most part since i oiled it really good

Chain oil, they sell it in a spray can, made my a ton of different companies.

ahh, ok, thanks guys, that helps, ill have to get some of that, anybody know what i could do as far as sprockets to get more pulling power? (fixing to be dog box on back rack) also thought about making some kind of removable snorkel

not much, 83 185s, got it for hunting mostly, would like to get a trike with suspension sooner or later

I use GDL sylicone lube.....works great and lasts

any way it'll outlast water? or will it wash away all lube?

You can put a smaller sprocket on the front. Thats what I did on my 185s b/c I wanted it to be a little slower on the trails.

ok, ill try that, cuz I want it to pull a little more, not really caring about top speed
