polish will dry up and start to flake the plastics and turn them white with time, Best thing to do to keep the plastics looking nice is after riding wash the bike or bikes and keep them out of the sun and rain, but the bad thing for me is both mine and my dads bikes have the plastics and seats look very bad becuz of the old owners keeping the bikes in the sun and rain the whole year.

I learned not to use an old worn out chain just for a test ride! Just got my 350x together yesterday, installed a 400ex carb and fabbed up a z400 muffler/silencer for it. was still waiting on a new chain so made one to fit with old chain and a couple masterlinks. I was right in the middle of a third gear wheelie when the chain snapped! Put a hole in the stator cover! No oil was spraying out though? I'll still need to take it apart and see how bad it is, I was too pissed last night to mess with it...

I just learned two things:
(1) not all threads on 3WW need to be read
(2) that I agree with Glamy.
