View Full Version : Need help figuring out what year my Kawasaki KLT 200 is!

I have a Kawasaki KLT 200 that needs its rings replaced but I am having trouble figuring out what year it is. I will attach a picture of it maybee that will help. Did all of the KLT 200's use the same engine? Thanks for your help.

Looks like an 84. Look on the steering stem. Should say year,make and model. Good luck!

Thanks for your help. It is a KLT 200-A1. The A1 was only made in 1981.

could you help me with wiring my A1 since yours is in much better shape than mine and probably still has its wiring.

Do you know if the wiring on the A1 is similar to the wiring on a KLT200C? If so, do you have a wiring diagram for it? Thanx

umm well i need to know how to wire the whole thing with out lights or the stock throttle since i have a twist off a street bike(yes it will be changed to a dirtbike throttle) i can get a couple switches to do the same jobs the stockers did.
