1984 ytm 200 carb

I just bought a 1984 ytm 200 and when it is ideling gas will run out the bottom of the bowl, but fine when driving. could it just be the float. was also wondering if i can put a carb on it off of anything else.

your float level is too high, and yes you can put a 225 dx or dr carb on it. Also some of the 90's yamaha four wheelers had the same carb not sure on all of the models, but it is a mikuni 24w carb, and a 29u is the same housing just with different jets in it
