87 250r what do you think?

Get out your November issue of DirtWheels and open to the last pictures page and look at the top center picture with two 3 wheelers at the end. One looks like a 185 and the other? a 250R for shure with white plastics and red headlight , with what looks like a white tank too. Now maybe maybe it's a 200X or 350X with a 250R headlight and 250R front forks, or a 250R with aftermarket white plastics and gas tank. Or maybe maybe it's an actual 87 250R. Let me know what you guys think. Think there's anyway to find out who sent in the picture?

i think that we will never know. but looks like aftermarket plastic to me

I don't think we'll ever find an '87 either but it sparked my mind when I looked at the picture in the magazine.

It is aftermarket plastics, the 87's have white headlights and red fork boots with a red tank and frame with all other plastic white.

If the 87 were to exist in Canada or wherever we would have seen at least one frame sticker by now. Does seem odd though that they distributed the 87 SX and the 87 200X?? But not the R or 350X? Hmmm.
