Hi guys! I'm new to this site but love what I see so far! Today I bought a 200x. Its a complete trike but with a blown engine. I have a Yamaha warrior 350 engine sitting in the barn. I know that engine is a lot bigger dimension wise than the 200x. I saw a thread about putting a blaster engine in a 200x, but has anyone out there tried to do a warrior engine? I have a 250r but would love to have a four stoke for the mud and dependability.

Why not just rebuild the 200x engine? Sure, the warrior engine could be done, but there is a lot of fabrication involved, and if you dont have a good welder, the correct tools, materials, or the knowledge to do it correctly, I dont think it would be worth it, because it would turn out to be a hack job. Im not trying to shoot you down, and I dont know what you have to use at your disposal.

You are probably right. We have a running 200x but it just doesn't have the power to break the wheels free that I'm used to. (plus than my bro's 350x would still beat it!) We have a nice shop and welder. Also my brother is a welder at a local metal fab place. Just trying to weigh my options before I do anything rash.

if you do anything rash, consider me as a buyer for the 200X engine, what year is it?

I'd do it, plus it has reverse, it would be a true beast I would do it without a thought!

Its an '85 200x. Does anybody know how close the 200x frame is to the 250r frame? I have a 250r frame laying around that is striped. Someone somehow dented the down tube and it would need some repair work anyway to be usable.

No matter wat it would be a total hoss with the warrior motor! Do it man! Or I will buy it and do it!
